Colours
Light and soft colors
This is a great example of a low contrast palette of neutrals with a bit of color. These delicate but fun palette works beautifully with the scenery, without taking away attention from it.
If you're not sure on what colors to wear I suggest that you go for a low contrast palette of light neutral colors like cream, pistachio, light blue, light brown, beige...
Dark and warm colors
This is a lovely example of a darker and warmer low-contrast palette. Other color options for this kind of color scheme are: olive, forest green, rust, hazelnut, chocolate brown, navy blue, charcoal, burgundy.
High contrast combinations
This is a beautiful example of a higher contrast color combination of chocolate brown and white.
This color combination works particularly well with the background of Villa borghese, both complementing the nature and the architecture of this site.
I generally don't suggest mixing really high contrast color combinations like black and white or similars, as they don't shine their best with my style of editing and this kind of imagery.
Textures and patterns
Balancing patterns
Caleb's shirt is a great example of a subtle and fun floral pattern.
It adds details to the look, without grasping too much attention. The combination looks balanced and harmonious thanks to Hanna's outfit's simplicity.
I suggest you avoid dots, stripes and any loud or detailed print or logo.
Combining patterns
Like I previously mentioned I suggest you don't mix and match elaborate patterns as it can result in a chaotic look.
I suggest you keep it simple; if you want to add vibrancy to your look, this is a magnificent example of an elegant and simple combination, as both outfits match in color, simplicity and style.
Texture
If you prefer color blocks for your outfits, I suggest choosing clothes with an interesting texture, transparency or that fall in a peculiar way. I also suggest adding layers like jackets, jumpers and cardigans that add dimention and character to your look.
Shape
Flowy dresses
Flowy and soft dresses are the best! They have a timeless and romantic look and will allow us to create movement and stunning shapes in our images. They will work great for any occasion!
Tight clothing
If you love a tight dress, don't worry, that'll look amazing in the final result, especially if we're going to shoot in the city.
Keep in mind that we'll move around a lot, so make sure that you'll feel comfortable in your clothes!
Straight shapes
A more casual and elongated shape for trousers and dresses will be particularly beautiful in locations with columns, statues and other architectural elements.
