A.To clarify, the raw files are unprocessed and uncompressed files that have not been edited or enhanced.

I don’t provide the .RAW files to clients for three main reasons:

1. The .RAW images are files are straight from my camera & untouched. At the .RAW state the images are not edited and they don't represent my photography quite yet.
Asking for these files would be like hiring a professional baker to make a wedding cake and then just asking them to provide the raw cake dough instead.

2. It also takes special software I’ve purchased to convert these high resolution files into an image so that you can view it on your screen. This process is long for me and the file sizes are massive. The action of converting these files is part of what you paid for with
my services.

3. Raw files are legal proof of the ownership and originality of an image. They are extremely precious and important, if I gave them away anyone that possesses them could be recognized officially as their creator.

A.I have never had a client tell me they were unhappy with the final product my whole career.
