A.Here are some travel options, along with estimated travel times, to help you plan your visit to this charming lakeside town:
By Car:
From Rome: If you're starting in the heart of Rome, you can drive to Trevignano Romano in approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Take the SS2 Bis road (Cassia) north towards Viterbo. You'll pass by Lake Bracciano before reaching your destination.
By Train:
Trevignano Romano does not have its own train station, but you can take a train from Rome to Bracciano, a nearby town. The journey takes around 1 hour. From Bracciano, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to Trevignano Romano, which will take approximately 30 minutes.
By Taxi:
A taxi from Rome to Trevignano Romano is a convenient option, but more expensive. The journey will take around 1 to 1.5 hours.
I personally suggest getting to Bracciano by train to visit the beautiful castle Orsini-Odescalchi, and then reaching Trevignano by taxi.
Another convenient option I suggest would be to rent a car and reach Trevignano directly from Rome.
